O'Neill, but the mission is set regardless.  ETA in NH; Thursday night, January 22nd for some, Friday morning for others.  We will need to discuss food, carpooling and locations.  I say we keep food simple and inexpensive....lasagna, burgers, etc. 

Next, who can go Thursday night, get on the road for like 5 or 6??  I am thinking we can do this  trip in two or three vehicles, Todd and Chuck will be going together on Friday morning, if Brian is in I am sure he will be with them, that leaves Timmay, Luke, Zach and I.  I am willing to drive if you guys want, can we get all our gear in the back of my truck, I am thinking yeah. 

Last, where would everyone like to go?  I think Hawkins is high on the list, check out the Upcoming events to see a map of it.  Some other mentions have been Stinson, Squam and Waukewan.  I wouldn't mind something we can't get to with our boats, maybe Perch Pond or some of the others close to the condo that are smaller in size.  If Squam is one of our choices, I think Rattlesnake Cove is the place to go.  Stinson would be real nice too, the guys who went to the Bachelor Party will remember that one, I flipped the canoe there...ha ha!

Anyway, lets get this stuff ironed out in the next couple weeks, I will look forward to some action on our new website....

]]>Sat, 29 Nov 2008 18:04:15 -0800http://www.fishslayersri.com/1/post/2008/11/ce-fishing-trip.htmlInfantile stages of planning an ice fishing trip to the Condo are officially under way.  My thoughts are we definitely keep our travel to a minimum, so Hawkins Pond, Stinson Lake, Squam and the surrounding lakes and ponds are the ones in play.  It may be a great opportunity to hit some of the places we don't go because of no boat launch, Perch Pond, Ellsworth Pond, Mirrors Lake, Elbow Pond, etc, etc, let's look at some different places and come up with some ideas.  Let's also figure out some weekends that work for everyone (or as many people as possible), trying to get condo time in the winter is very hard.  Thinking we head up on a Thursday night after work, come back Sunday morning, or just a Friday through Sunday, whichever works best.  January 22 - 25; February 5 - 8; March 12 - 15...... Here are three dates to choose from, let me know your top two so I can get the ok for the condo on the one that works best for everyone.

]]>Tue, 18 Nov 2008 17:47:07 -0800http://www.fishslayersri.com/1/post/2008/11/welcome-fishslayers.htmlGeneral Consensus here, welcoming all Slayers to our new website.  Feel free to post a blog, add photos from our past trips or any of the thousands of other days we have fished together or alone.  If you guys want me to add something to the site, just let me know and I will see what I can do.  Its nothing special, but I wanted to get something started where we can all post pictures, talk, and just have a place to screw around online.  If it seems like a popular idea and we use it alot, I will probably redesign it and register it under a new domain name, along with potentially adding the ability for other people to find it through search engines, and adding the ability to sell fishing gear on it.  Dreaming big on that last idea, but I think we could get there...aka; Seven Deadly Spinners?  Anyway, enough for now...lets get some action!!!  Over and Out
